Welcome Home
Evangelism, Discipleship & Generosity in Action

At Infinity church our heart is Introducing Melbourne to Jesus, this means preaching the good news of Jesus to our city. Melbourne is a multicultural city with many languages spoken and so Infinity Church has four different services each week in three different languages.

Our values are to see people grow in their knowledge of God, become like Jesus, and to meet the needs of our community.

If you’re looking for a church where you will be loved, have an opportunity to impact your community and be challenged to grow by the word of God, then we’d love for you to come and be a part of one of our services in your preferred language.

We hope to see you soon!

VALUES

EVANGELISM

We Introduce Melbourne to Jesus by living our lives as examples of Christ and by talking to people about the good news of salvation. Jesus is the answer to the world, the answer to sin, and so we joyfully praise him and preach his word delivering the truth with love as we were called to do.

DISCIPLESHIP

Discipleship is all about being in relationships with others that point to God. Jesus called each believer to grow in his likeness, continually being formed into the ways he called us to live, surrendered to and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We call each other to growth as we gather together in services and through the week.

GENEROSITY

God's generosity to us is our example to live lives that are generous to those around us. We give of our time and finances to be able be a church meets the needs of our community.

OUR STORY

Infinity Church began in 1994 when founding pastors Craig and Chris Anderson and their four sons arrived in Melbourne from International Network of Churches (INC) largest church in Brisbane where they had been serving on staff for thirteen years.

The move was a response to the call of God to extend the work of INC in the southern states of Australia.

Craig and Chris fell in love with Melbourne and have a passion to share the boundless love of God with people across the city, the state and further afield.

The church has flourished in growth and planting other churches, moving four times before arriving at the present location in South Morang in 2010.

Over that time the church has built a significant profile in the local area as a community impacting church. We have reached the community through a Community Kitchen/cafe, High Schoolers ministry, Police Chaplaincy, addressing Family Violence and most importantly, preaching the good news of Jesus Christ to the city we love in multiple different languages.

We are now operating 3 different language services reaching many of the different communities within Melbourne, preaching the good news weekly in Farsi, English and Arabic.

In 2022 after 28 years of leading Infinity church Craig and Chris retired from the role of senior pastor and handed over to Daniel and Meghan Power who they personally mentored for 6 years prior in preparing them for the role.

Daniel and Meghan have been with infinity church since 2003 and 2009 respectively, serving in a number of different roles prior to the 2022 change. They were married in 2011 by Craig and have two beautiful children.

Like Craig and Chris before them, Daniel and Meghan’s heart is to see the city they love come to know God, to serve people with the love of God and to see people grow in relationship with Him.

Whilst the logistics and language barriers of running a church in 3 languages is complicated, the ethos of the church is not, put simply: Jesus is the centre of everything. This brings health and wholeness to the entire person.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
